Nate's Birthday Party

We had Nate's 4th birthday party today at the Fairlanes Bowling alley. His very first big kid party where he got to invite his friends. His VIP guests included Colby Cormier, Nathan and Matthew Daye, Olivia and Sam Ellsworth, Rodrey Williams and Samuel Leblanc. Sophie and Thomas were there too. Sophie was a little angel as always and easily went from arm to arm of the various parents in attendance. There were a few incidents between guests over a blue bowling ball but overall the party was a great success. Nate got lots and lots of great presents ; a Buzz Light Year toy, a Lightening McQueen puzzle, remote control Mater truck, dinky cars, color wonder book and markers, a bingo game and I am sure I am forgetting a few. The best part was that I didn't have to clean up afterwards. They provided all the food, drinks, cake and utensils. I have learnt over the years that while making a cake and decorating the house is a very nice idea, in reality it is stressful and takes a lot of planning and time - something of which I don't have ANY extra these days! I am only posting a few pictures because they didn't turn out too well - they are mostly blurry. I am not a fan of our camera although I am sure it is me and not the camera that is messing them up...Hopefully I will get it figured out though because we do have one more BIG birthday suprise in store for Nate next weekend.
